I love a Halloween party that feels a little creepy before you even reach the front door. Dark lighting, old-looking decorations, pumpkins, and a few spooky surprises can make an ordinary backyard feel ready for Halloween night.
You don’t need to cover every inch of the yard, either. I think a few strong focal points work much better, especially when you connect them with the same dark colors and moody lighting.
